Experience is a great teacher. Donate to meaningful experiential learning opportunities that help Dal students become leaders in their profession and in our community.

What is Experiential Learning?

Experiential Learning (EL) is the unique opportunity for students to take what they’ve learned in the classroom and apply it to real-world experiences. At Dalhousie, experiential learning can take many forms, including:

  • service learning and community-based projects
  • in-class simulation
  • live performances
  • field courses
  • practicums
  • study abroad programs
  • case competitions and hackathons

When students participate in experiential learning opportunities, they return to campus with fresh perspectives, new-found confidence and renewed commitment to their studies. They gain a deeper understanding, a broader skillset, and a clear direction for their post-grad life and careers.

Support extraordinary learning opportunities.
