One of the largest and oldest faculties at Dalhousie, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers students a world of possibilities to discover and learn. With thirty-five academic programs, our students can explore their passions – whether it’s learning a new language, developing their writing abilities or delivering the performance of a lifetime on stage. Regardless of their program, our students have the chance to build on what they learn outside of the classroom through experiential learning opportunities.

FASS Scholarships for Black and Indigenous Students

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at Dalhousie University is dedicated to promoting educational equity and providing opportunities for all, including those who are from underserved populations. The FASS Scholarships for Black and Indigenous Students Fund embodies this commitment. The Fund is designed to empower and to support Black and Indigenous students in their academic pursuits, ensuring they have the resources they need and opportunities to excel in their studies to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
