Dalhousie University is excited to announce a unique opportunity for professional artists to create a captivating mural in the Dentistry Department of our institution. Sponsored by GreenShield, this project aims to enhance the atmosphere of the campus dental clinic, create a welcoming environment for our students and patients, and showcase the intersection of art and dentistry.

This Call for Submissions is open to both emerging and established artists who have a passion for creating visually stunning and engaging murals. While we welcome applications from artists of all backgrounds and experiences, submissions from African Nova Scotian artists will be prioritized as we believe in the importance of diverse cultural resonance in this project.

The theme for the mural is one that reflects the following three social impact pillars:

  • Building inclusive communities;
  • Driving a sustainable future;
