The words vibrant and dynamic define living in Calgary. It has top-quality entertainment, exceptional restaurants, a wide variety of sporting facilities and events, and a cultural scene that is second to none. All this, plus living next door to the Rocky Mountains and many of the world’s top-quality outdoor activity locations, who cares that it is sometimes -30⁰C! Calgary is an engaging community to live in and pursue your career, and that is exactly what many Dalhousie alumni are doing. The Calgary Chapter offers an opportunity to connect with fellow Dalhousie graduates to share fun, interesting and rewarding experiences with alumni from every faculty and of all ages.
Although far from Dalhousie and the East Coast, our 2,500 alumni demonstrate a strong desire to stay connected with their school and their fellow graduates. Don’t be left out – make sure that we have your current contact information. Then, get out and join in the fun at our many events. We would love to hear from you, meet you and perhaps have you lend a hand at one of our activities, or pursue ideas that haven’t even occurred to us. Don’t be a stranger, drop us a note at email@example.com.

Let’s support Calgary students on their journey at Dal
Calgary alumni have initiated a scholarship to support Southern Alberta students in pursuing their studies at Dalhousie. The scholarship is building towards the amount required to send the first recipient on their journey to Dal. We need your support to reach the $25,000 minimum. Please contribute to this scholarship fund – any amount is appreciated and will help support future students to achieve their goal of attending Dal, as did you. You will receive a charitable donation receipt for your taxes.
Head over to our scholarship page at giving.dal.ca/calgaryalumnischolarship
You will notice that in the “Direct your gift” section, the funding areas are pre-populated to select our Calgary Chapter Alumni Association Scholarship. Easy! Dedicate your gift, or continue through to enter your donation details.
On behalf of future Dal students, THANK YOU!
