Courtney Larkin
New Brunswick Alumni Ambassador
Courtney Larkin is a proud Dalhousie alum and entrepreneur, living in Fredericton, NB with her spouse (Jonathan) and son (Reid). Prior to moving to Fredericton, she lived in Halifax and served on the Dalhousie Alumni Association’s Board of Directors from 2010-2017. She was elected the Executive Vice President (2013-15) and President (2015-17).
In 2010, Courtney received a Bachelor of Management and was also awarded the ‘Lily Ju Lifetime Achievement Award’ and ‘Malcolm Honour Award’ by the Dalhousie Student Union, and the ‘Community Contribution Award’ and ‘Mentor of the Year Award’ by the Faculty of Management. Prior to graduating, she served on the Dalhousie Student Union as Vice President Student Life (2007-08) and President (2008-09), and volunteered for over 20 student clubs and events.
Ms. Larkin is the Owner of ‘Happy Hour Club’, an event planning company that specializes in hosting networking events for women in Fredericton to celebrate their accomplishments. Within the next year the company will expand to Moncton and Saint John, NB.
Ms. Larkin is also the Owner of ‘Luna Baby’ which created and sells the luna pillow, the world’s best breastfeeding pillow. They have recently been accepted into The Summer Institute’s 2019 business accelerator program.
