Joseph RandellJoseph Randell (BEng’76, LLD’15) recently received the 2016 Alumni Honour Award from Memorial University’s Faculty of Business.

Randell is president and CEO of Chorus Aviation Inc. The Halifax-based company owns Jazz Aviation LP, which is one of the world’s largest regional airlines.

Randell received an MBA from Memorial in 1985. That same year he co-founded Air Nova, which led to the eventual creation of Jazz Aviation in 2001.

Jazz employs roughly 4100 people across Canada, and provides service to over 70 North American destinations.
