The new Dalhousie Alumni Halifax Chapter hosted an exciting first event on September 24, 2015 to welcome alumni and friends from around the region. Alumni spanning four decades gathered at the University Club Pub for an evening of conversation, refreshments and prizes. Among the attendees were DAA president Courtney Larkin (BMgmt’10), former DAA president Barrie Black (BA’71, LLB’71), and Halifax Chapter chair Mark Little (BSc’06).

The Halifax Chapter boasts the largest concentration of Dal alumni anywhere, and all those in attendance expressed their excitement that Halifax now has a chapter of its own, at the heart of the Dal community. The chapter is actively seeking volunteers, and can be reached with any questions or suggestions at halifaxalumni@dal.ca.
