WeUsThem Inc. recently won an international award recognizing “excellence on the Internet.”

The Halifax-based firm was named a Webby Honoree by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADGS) for their work on the website TeenMentalHealth.Org.

The website has seen annual visitors jump from 75,000 to 4.5 million.

According to WeUsThem President and CEO Ashwin Kutty (BScCS’99), the award speaks to the creativity and collective strength of their agency.

Faten Alshazly (BScCS’99), Principal and Chief Creative Officer, explains that the success was a joint effort of the agency’s creative and technical teams, who collaborated to create “an artistic visualization of how we present Mental Health to the world.”

WeUsThem is the first agency on Canada’s East Coast to receive a Webby Award.
