Joye Sears

Joye Sears (DipTech (Animal Health)’07) recently joined a team of veterinary volunteers in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The team spayed and neutered 464 animals during a four-day sterilization clinic, addressing a need for animal care in the area.

“In these communities, there are mass exterminations taking place as population control, which is really ineffective,” says Sears. “With the sterilization clinics, we can make a difference.”
