A Halifax company founded and led by CEO Travis McDonough (BScK’94) has just signed its first Major League Baseball client: the Toronto Blue Jays. Kinduct Technologies Inc. provides software and data analysis to help major sports organizations tailor training and rehabilitation programs for their individual athletes, among other services.

Kinduct counts several male and female professional sports teams among its clients, including the Montreal Canadiens, Ottawa Senators, Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards and Washington Mystics. This week’s deal with the Jays, however, marks the company’s first partnership within Major League Baseball. Dalhousie alumnus and CEO Travis McDonough notes this new partnership as an exciting opportunity to expand into a market with high demand for his firm’s services.
