The Honourable Judge Pamela Williams (LLB’84) has been appointed the new chief judge of the Nova Scotia provincial and family courts. Judge Williams has been an associate chief judge of the provincial court since 2011 and spent 18 years as a lawyer with Nova Scotia Legal Aid until she was appointed as a provincial court judge in 2003. She is the first woman to hold this position in the provincial and family courts.
