Chad Munro (BEng’98, MASc’05) is the founder of Halifax Biomedical Inc., a Cape Breton firm recognized as being on the cutting edge of joint replacement and spinal care.

The company recently received FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) approval for image processing software.

“FDA approval means we can start generating revenue around analysis services,” Munro says of the announcement. “It’s one of the largest value milestones we could hit.”
