S. Bradley Moran (PhD (Oceanography)’90) has been appointed to The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Executive Office of the President in the role of assistant director for ocean sciences.

Moran will be responsible for implementing federal policies regarding ocean science and facilitating ocean science and resources efforts between various government agencies.
