James Boxall (MA’00, MLIS’06) has been elected a governor of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society (RCGS).

The election took place in Ottawa at a gala attended by Dr. David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mrs. Laureen Harper.

Boxall is also a fellow of the RCGS and was awarded the Geographic Education Medal in 2012.
