Kilamanjaro_560x261Dalhousie alumna Ayat El Dewary (BA’04) will scale Africa’s highest mountain to create awareness of the Syrian refugee crisis.

El Dewary is an employee of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Abu Dhabi. She has already raised $10,000 toward improving the living conditions of children and families in Syrian refugee camps.
