Immigrant services app in the running for Google prize
PeaceGeeks, co-founded by commerce graduate Renee Black (BComm’99), is a finalist in the Google Impact Challenge, and could win $750,000. Its new app, Services Advisor Pathways, will use tech to strengthen access to services information for immigrants and refugees as they become active and vibrant Canadian citizens and her organization.
