The Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society recently announced that Heather McNeill (LLB’94), QC, will receive the 2014 Distinguished Service Award.

McNeill practices with the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service. She volunteers extensively in the community, including serving as serving on the Indigenous Blacks & Mi’kmaq Advisory Council and providing pro bono legal services through Immigrant Settlement & Integration Services (ISIS).
