Open Dialogue Live event explores issues in access to oral health care
Join Dalhousie’s Faculty of Dentistry next week for Oral Health is Health, an Open Dialogue Live panel discussion that will address current oral health care issues facing Canadians across the lifespan, from children under the care of government to aging populations in long-term care facilities.

Holding the suction tube for Saint John dentist Dr Carl Tilley (DDS’71) while his older brother received emergency after hour dental treatment convinced the then 16-year-old Lary Trites (DDS’86) that dentistry was for him.
Outstanding Alumni Award Recipient 2020 – Dr. Eric Hatfield (DDS’86)
Dr. Eric Hatfield (DDS’86) is the 2020 recipient of a Faculty of Dentistry Outstanding Alumni Award. Sadly, Dr. Hatfield died of an aneurysm on January 20, 2020, on his way home from a National Dental Examining Board meeting in Ottawa.
