Event Details

This workshop, Gait assessment – from the research lab to clinical practice, is designed to provide physiotherapists with a framework for the evaluation of gait. Participants will have the opportunity to experience both state of the art gait assessment (three-dimensional motion capture, electromyography, split belt walking and gaitRITE operation and usage) and the use of clinically available tools and measures to assist with clinical decision making and research interpretation. Common gait deviations will be presented and discussed using case-based scenarios. A certificate will be provided to participants upon completion of the course.
