David Eby (LLB’04) appointed attorney general for B.C.
The Honorable David Eby (LLB’04) has been the MLA for Vancouver-Point Grey since 2013 (re-elected for his second term in May, 2017), and yesterday he was appointed Attorney General for British Columbia.
Among Eby’s successes as a politician, he has also taught as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of British Columbia; served as Executive Director for the B.C. Civil Liberties Association; worked as a human rights lawyer with the Federal Department of Justice, and campaigned on law and policy issues concerning low-income housing and homelessness in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside with the Pivot Legal Society.
