- Monique Fares (BScK’09), CEO and Dr. Howard Conter (BSc’80, MD’84, PGM’86), VP Medical Operations and Senior Medical Consultant were finalists for Signature Health
- Stefanie MacDonald (BMgmt’11) was a finalist for Halifax Paper Hearts
Small Business of the year
- Natalie Frederick-Wilson, a 2016 graduate of Dalhousie’s Executive Leadership and Development Program, won silver as owner of House of Auto Details
- Dan Monk (BEng (TUNS)’93) of MONK Renovations won bronze
- Margaret Armour (BA’66) is an owner of Aerobics First, which was a finalist
