Travis McDonough (BScK’94) recently expanded his Halifax-based Kinduct Technologies to the San Francisco area, joining a growing list of Atlantic Canadian companies expanding to Silicon Valley. While his company is still based in Halifax, McDonough is heading up the medical-tech company’s Palo Alto office.

He says he enjoys working within minutes of Stanford University and the networking and partnership opportunities of Silicon Valley. He is hoping to employ 100 people at the home office in Halifax in 2017.
