Bridge Brewing founder, Peter Burbridge

Peter Burbridge (BSc’06, MBA’09) is part of a growing trend of young people turning to entrepreneurship as a way to make a living in Halifax. A Halifax native, he taught English in Korea after completing his science degree when he couldn’t find relevant employment locally. Realizing Halifax was where he wanted to be, he returned and enrolled in the MBA program with Dalhousie’s Faculty of Management.

With craft beer in Nova Scotia still an emerging market, he decided to open a brewery. His North Brewing Company is now about to celebrate one year in business.
