Alumnus Peter Burbridge (BSc’06, MBA’09) has opened Bridge Brewing Company Ltd. in Halifax along with Annapolis Valley farmer Josh Herbin.

The Agricola Street microbrewery was scheduled to open last summer, but was delayed in finalizing inspections and permits. Burbridge took this time to start brewing and adjusting recipes, applying his interest in sustainability and palate for craft brew. Minimizing its environmental impact is a priority for the company. As is appealing to customers with a retail storefront where they can fill growlers and purchase branded clothing and glassware. All the best to this new venture!
