Professor Roger Thompson FRAS FRSA (BA(Hons)’91, MA’94) has received kudos from retired senior U.S. military officers for his book, Lessons Not Learned: The U.S. Navy’s Status Quo Culture.
Mark Mis (MBA’02) has been appointed the Head of Service Planning and Scheduling at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).
Jane Allt (MPA’03) and Angela Poirier (MPA’03) are co-authors of “How Government Really Works — A field guide to bureaucracies in Canada” released on October 13, 2020.
Dr Julie Curwin (BSc’90, MD’97) has recently published a book of short fiction entitled “The Appendage Formerly Known as Your Left Arm” with Boularderie Island Press in Cape Breton.
Roger Thompson (BA’89, BAHC’91, MA’94) has received even more recognition for his unique Start Trek classes at Kyung Hee University in Korea.
Bai Hú (Ian Heystee) (BComm’14) participated in a cultural and educational term abroad with seven other Canadians. Attending a university in Shanghai’s Pudong region, he took classes on subjects related to China as well as Mandarin lessons. The time wrapped up with a pinch of excitement in late January with regards to the emergence of Covid-19.
Dennis Taylor (BSc’68), has published his fourth genealogy book, this one for his maternal grandfather’s family line: “A Genealogy of Nova Scotia’s South Shore GELDERTs and their descendants across the United States and Canada”.
Dillan Theckedath (MBA’03), is finishing his term as Visiting Research Director at the Canadian Audit & Accountability Foundation
Leigh Lampert (LLB/MBA’02), recently establish his own business law practice, Lampert LawGiC in Toronto.
Brenda Hogan (MBA’02), has been appointed the Chief Investment Officer of the Ontario Capital Growth Corporation.
