Irving Oil Auditorium, Richard Murray Design Building

Dalhousie is excited to share that the anticipated transformation of the Sexton Campus is now complete as of Fall 2018. This project, otherwise known as the IDEA (Innovation and Design in Engineering and Architecture) Project, is the largest transformation to take place at the Sexton Campus in 50 years.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, we’re inviting you to leave your legacy in the 450-seat Irving Oil Auditorium – the largest classroom on Sexton Campus – with a $500.00 gift to the We Saved You A Seat campaign. By making your gift, you will name a seat in the Auditorium through a personalized, engraved inscription, while also supporting future engineers for generations to come.

Over ninety per cent (90%) of the seats in the Auditorium have been named to date. With a limited number of seats remaining, the time is now to leave your legacy. Please join us in the We Saved You A Seat campaign today and be a part of Sexton Campus’ history. Charitable receipts are available for all. Payroll dedications are also available for Dalhousie Faculty and Staff.

To those who have made a gift already, thank you for your generous support. Your gift to the campaign enables students to make use of innovative research hubs and student learning spaces. They are thoroughly enjoying the upgraded learning spaces and we are thrilled to see them thrive in this state-of-the-art educational environment.
