Make an impact on current and future students

Alumni can provide valuable support to students during their time at Dalhousie. Connect with future leaders and help Dal deliver on its mission by supporting opportunities for teaching, learning, research and service for students.

Through the new Community Connector program, you can serve as a point-of-contact for students relocating to your city. Share your advice and expertise with students during their transition to your area.

If you were an international student at Dal, participate in our International Student Community Connector program.

Offer guidance related to your career path or industry by serving as a mentor to a student interested in your field of work.

As a Dalhousie graduate you have expertise, experience and advice that students would find invaluable. Help accelerate their career by sharing this expertise with them as an alumni mentor. You’ll help the student define their career path, explore job opportunities, expand their professional network, and more. You’ll benefit from the rewarding experience of networking with promising new professionals. They in turn will benefit from your insights, career experience and real-world accounts of the professional world.
