Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) honours Kourosh Rad (BCD’11) with the national President’s Award for Young Planners. His nomination was supported by fellow alumni Jacob Ritchie (BEng’03), Andy Fillmore (BEDS’91, MURP’92), Waye Mason (BA’06), Nathan Rogers (MPlan’08), and Eric Burchill (MBA’03).
Glen Nicholson (MArch ’14) is an intern architect at Fowler Bauld and Mitchell and the drummer in the Halifax-based band In Flight Safety. This past September they released their album “Conversationalist,” which has just been named the 2015 East Coast Music Association’s Album of the Year! Glen was recently married and lives in Halifax.

Yongjia Lin (BCD ’12) is finishing his last semester of a Masters of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. He spent the last semester in the urban design studio mainly concentrating on informal settlement. He traveled to Santiago and Valapariso, Chile with his class for the studio trip and had an amazing experience!
