A Networking Opportunity for MLS / MLIS / MIM Grads in the Toronto Area

Dalhousie University graduates of the Master of Library Service, Master of Library and Information Studies, and Master of Information Management programs in the Toronto area are invited to meet with Dr. Bertrum MacDonald, long-time faculty member, and other graduates at an informal gathering as follows:

Date/Time: Wednesday, 17 July 2019, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Location: Prenup Pub, 191 College St, Toronto (https://prenuppub.com/)

Dalhousie University established the School of Information Management in 1969 and that year launched the first Master’s program in library and information studies in Atlantic Canada. Today, the School offers the on-campus Master of Information (former Master of Library and Information Studies) and the distance delivery Master of Information Management, and jointly offers the Bachelor of Management with the Schools in the Faculty of Management.

Dr. MacDonald will be in Toronto to participate in a conference and is looking forward to meeting with Dalhousie grads. This informal event will provide an opportunity for grads to network and to learn about activities in the School in this anniversary year. Do plan to attend!
