Event Details

As the legalization of cannabis inches closer to becoming a reality in Canada, questions abound. Join us for a panel discussion and Q&A session on the legalization of marijuana in Canada and the complex issues it raises.

Our experts panelists are:

The panelist presentations will be followed by a Q&A period.

Sample panel topics include: cannabis-infused food and recreational marijuana as a food ingredient, how cannabinoids can affect brain function, possible cannabis distribution models, the boundaries between public health and the criminal law after the legalization of marijuana, public health promotion approach to other currently prohibited substances, therapeutical use and access to medical cannabis for issues such as chronic pain management, and key recommendations of Canada’s Task Force on Cannabis Legalization and Regulation.
