Ambassador Rae will discuss his perspective on Canada’s current role at the United Nations and the challenges of promoting International Human Rights during a time of polarization of politics around the globe. Similarly, Lt. General Dallaire joins the discussion to share his perspective on the need for Canada’s role to be reassessed in global world politics. Human rights must be protected if we are to achieve new approaches to global peace and security. Dr. Whitman will moderate the discussion.

This event is free and open to the public but registration is required to attend in person (seating is limited) and to access the event via live stream. ASL interpretation will be provided onstage and on the live stream.
