Ian Bezanson is president of Halifax-based marketing firm Bits Creative Agency. A graduate of Dalhousie’s Faculty of Computer Science program in 2004, he has worked in the technology and marketing industries for almost 15 years; leading regional, national and multinational projects and campaigns.

Ian has been an active member of the board over the past few years, chairing both the Nominations and Mentoring committees, sitting as an alumni representative on Dalhousie’s Board of Governors, as well as being an active participant in annual homecoming events, mentoring initiatives, and the DAA water station at the Bluenose Marathon. At the faculty level, he continues to assist and advise on events and initiatives within Computer Science as they look to strengthen their bond with alumni. Entering a term as the DAA Executive President, Ian is excited to play a part in the University’s 200th anniversary celebrations, leveraging the opportunity to engage both community and alumni in the tremendous history and future vision of the institution. Outside of work and volunteering, Ian soaks up as much time as possible with his wife and two young boys.
