The Canadian Public Relations Society-Nova Scotia (CPRS-NS) presented Mary Barker (BA’67) with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023 in recognition of and appreciation for her contributions to the PR profession and to CPRS both nationally and here in Nova Scotia. Mary served as President or Member of the Board of CPRS-NS for more than 25 years. Mary’s dedication to giving back through service and voluntarism is remarkable, and there is no cause closer to her heart than CPRS.
