James (Jim) Stewart (BA’79, MPA’81) was named the 2021 recipient of the Lieutenant-Governor’s Medal for Excellence in Public Administration. The medal is awarded annually to a person in public administration who exhibits the highest standard of excellence, dedication and accomplishment. Mr. Stewart works with the School of Public Administration at Dalhousie University and has created a large network across federal, provincial, municipal, non-profit and public sectors.
