Harold Cook accepts Outreach Nurse position with MOSH

Mobile Outreach Street Health (MOSH) is a small, but mighty team of professionals who aim to bring health care to the homeless and marginalized populations in HRM. They practice from the lens of harm-reduction and health equity and are at the forefront of many innovative initiatives including Nova Scotia’s first Managed Alcohol Program (MAP).

Harold Cook (BScN’11) has worked with their team as a casual Registered Nurse for 3 years while working full-time at the QEII Emergency Dept. Recently, he accepted a full-time position with MOSH as an Outreach Nurse with a start date of early January 2022.

From the frontlines of the ED to helping bring care and comfort to those in the throes of the housing crisis, his work is rewarding and never ever boring!
