Kaylyn Fraser

Born and raised in Ottawa, Kaylyn (BA’09) completed her undergraduate degree in Economics and French at Dalhousie. While at the University, Kaylyn was actively involved across the University’s community. Among other things, she was a Senator to the Dalhousie University Senate, a Councillor to the Dalhousie Student Union, a member of the Dalhousie water polo team, and part of the Dalhousie Chorale. As an alumna, Kaylyn has been a member of the board of the Dalhousie Alumni Association since 2014.
After graduating from Dalhousie, Kaylyn completed two postgraduate degrees in Europe: a Masters of Economics and Public Policy between the Institut d’Études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and the École Polytechnique in Paris, France; and an MSc Economic History at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in London, UK.
Kaylyn remained in London following the completion of her postgraduate studies. She currently works as an Investment Manager at AgDevCo – a social impact investor focused on developing the commercial agriculture sector in sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to this, Kaylyn spent seven years working as a consultant in the emerging markets practice of an economic consultancy.
