Alana Riley (MBA’17) is a success driven people leader who delivers superior results by building and motivating top performing diverse teams. An expansive career in Financial Services, leading teams of 1000+ employees in Wealth Management, Estate & Trust Services, Retail Banking, Commercial Insurance, Health Care, Small and Medium sized business lines. Alana provides strategic insight as a member of the Senior Distribution Executive team as well as the Gamma Steering Committee aligning the organization around the vision, scope, and delivery of transformational change leadership, digital platform launches and Client Experience model. Passionate Champion of D & I, Alana is the National Chair, Women, Wealth & Well- Being, and Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee Member.
Alana holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Dalhousie University, blended with Financial Services Specialization and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Windsor. In addition, Alana has obtained the designations Partners, Directors & Officers, LLQP, YTT and currently working towards the Certified Financial Services Coaches designation, ICF.
Alana has founded, InvestnU; designed to link financial wealth and overall health into one holistic plan, seeking to make an impact in the communities in which we work and live.
Alana is active in the community currently serving as Board Member, Children First Canada, Board Member, Gordie Howe C.A.R.E.S., previous Chair, Lean Advisory at Mt. Royal University, Chair, Women in Leadership, Committee Member Global Accessibility Advisory Group. Alana has launched a national seminar series, Synchronized Financial Planning for Women, keynote WOW, previous spokesperson for Calgary Marathon, Flames Foundation events and was awarded Wealth Manager of the Year, 2019, Women in Finance Awards Canada.
