Women’s Division

Join one of Dalhousie’s original volunteer groups

The Women’s Division of the Dalhousie Alumni Association was established in 1909. A 15-person executive committee leads this 200-member group of alumnae. The division’s priorities include student scholarships and awards, Shirreff Hall, and other community initiatives. The Division’s annual Student Musicale has been the main scholarship fundraising event for more than 20 years. The division also hosts a variety of social activities such as an annual luncheon, events in Shirreff Hall in support of a variety of upgrades for the building and its facilities, and celebrations in honour of milestone anniversaries such as the centennial in 2009.

Please contact the Women’s Division president, Margaret Cameron at womensdivision@dal.ca for more information on getting involved with this group.
