This is a rewarding volunteer opportunity for alumni across the country to apply for membership on the Dalhousie Alumni Association Board of Directors, a dynamic, professional, volunteer team representing Dalhousie’s 125,000 alumni.

The DAA’s mission is to build relationships between the university and its alumni, working towards an even stronger Dalhousie. The DAA board have led new programs such as alumni chapters, Homecoming, mentorship, and alumni participation at student recruitment events. Seeking to be broadly representative of faculties and graduation years, the board has a strategic and results-driven orientation.

While we welcome the interest of all Dal alumni, this year, we are particularly interested in those with:

• Experience on a non-profit board or committee
• Experience with alumni initiatives or events
• An active personal network of Dalhousie alumni

We are also seeking experience related to the following faculties:

• Agriculture
• Dentistry
• Grad Studies
• Medicine

While we are a national board seeking candidates from across Canada, this year we are striving to become an international board, accepting applications from our alumni around the world.
