The MacEachen Institute for Policy & Government recently made a $2.5-million donation to Dalhousie. The institute is a not-for-profit corporation based in Ottawa.

The funds will be used to establish a public policy and governance institute in the name of  The Honourable Allan J. MacEachen, PC, OC (LLD’74). MacEachen received an honorary doctorate from Dalhousie in 1974.
