Vendeve wins Fundica Funding Roadshow Winner of the 2015 Fundica Funding Road Show in Halifax, Katelyn Bourgoin (BA’09) will be heading to San Francisco to meet with top venture capital firms and set up office in Silicon Valley for six months as her prize. Bourgoin is CEO of Vendeve, a skills marketplace that empowers women to start and grow thriving businesses, using either their cash or their time as currency. Bourgoin and COO, Calee Blanchard competed against a dozen other companies to win the top prize.

Currently in a beta stage, Vendeve is tentatively half way to raising $600,000 in seed funding and quickly expanding to select cities across North America. The federal government sponsors the Fundica program, linking startups with prospective investors.
