Martha Wilson

Artist and gallery director Martha Wilson (MA’72) is among the recipients of the 2015 WCA Lifetime Achievement Awards, presented by the Women’s Caucus for Art (WCA).

Wilson is known for championing forms of art that are “vulnerable due to institutional neglect, their ephemeral nature, or politically unpopular content.”

She has impersonated such famous figures as Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush and Tipper Gore.

Wilson will receive her award in New York on February 15, 2015.
