Pamela J. Goulding (LLB’85) has recently been appointed Chief Judge of the Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador. She is notably the first female to hold a position of Chief Judge at any level of court in the province’s history.

Chief Judge Goulding previously served as a prosecutor, Crown Attorney, and later Provincial Court Judge.

She completed her legal studies at Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law in 1985, and was called to the bar in Newfoundland and Labrador, where she has since built an impressive legal career.
