Kinduct Technologies Inc. is making a name for itself in the world of Major League Baseball. The Halifax company, founded and led by CEO Travis McDonough (BScK’94), took its first step into the MLB market last month by signing the Toronto Blue Jays as a client.

The software and data analysis company more recently signed a partnership with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Kinduct has now been chosen as one of ten companies in an accelerator program run by the L.A. Dodgers and American advertising company R/A. The program will grant Kinduct access to business and technology development, pilot programs, brand strategy, mentorship, partnerships, and more.

McDonough studied kinesiology at Dalhousie, and has since harnessed the power of technology to provide unique insights to professional sports clients ranging from the Montreal Canadiens to the Orlando Magic. After signing the Blue Jays, McDonough spoke of the exciting opportunity to expand into the MLB market. As that projection is coming true, he now looks to the NCAA and high schools as new potential markets for expansion.
