Team Broken Earth’s Halifax contingent.

Dr. Katrina Hurley (BSc’97, MHI’07) and Dr. Chad Coles (BSc’93, MD’97) are among a group of Halifax healthcare professionals who recently returned from Haiti. The group spent a week volunteering at a local hospital through an organization called Team Broken Earth.

The Newfoundland-based organization is committed to improving healthcare across Haiti.

“The people of Haiti are in dire need,” says Dr. Coles. “This is no longer earthquake related relief that we’re providing.”
