Dimo Georgakakos (BScHE’87), the owner of popular Halifax bar Gus’ Pub, has branched off into real-life action adventure.

His first live adventure game, The Great Escape, is now open to Haligonians looking for a social and interactive form of entertainment.

The first edition focuses on the “true” cause of the Halifax Explosion, though more themes are in development.

“All I wanted to do was play hooky from everything else, and do this all the time,” he says of the passion project. “It was so much fun.”
