Dal expands Next 36 partnership
Dalhousie recently announced a formal partnership with the Next 36, a program that has helped several Dal students and alumni hone their business skills.
Now alumni, graduates of the program include Dragon’s Den winner Mitchell Lesbirel (BMGMT’12) and commerce grad Cham Munogshi (BComm’13). The students behind Purchext and Sage Mixology, Cam McDonald, Zack Levy and Daniel Bartek, have also completed the program.
Program participants have also received mentoring from experts Ed Leach (BComm’72) and Dr. Mary Kilfoil (PhD’98) at the Norman Newman Centre for Entrepreneurship at Dalhousie. As part of the new deal, the centre will provide funding for participants traveling to the Next 36’s base in Toronto.
