Cindy G. Cormier (BA’90, BSW’92, LLB’99, MWS’99) has been appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia’s family division, according to an announcement from the federal justice department.

Cormier earned her law degree from Dal in 1999. She worked at firms in Bridgewater and Dartmouth, specializing in family law and child protection.

Since 2002, Cormier has worked as a lawyer with the Nova Scotia Department of Justice.
