Katie Thomas (BSW’14) and Jack Scrine of Halifolks are bringing the street photography trend to Halifax’s forefront.

Taking a cue from Humans of New York, the duo photograph people on the streets of the city, posting quotes and photos to their Facebook page and website.

Often revealing common themes of struggle and hope, the project offers viewers daily inspiration while capturing a slice of life in Halifax.
