A recent shuffle within the Canadian government has resulted in the promotion of two Dalhousie alumni.

Erin O’Toole (LLB’03), MP for the riding of Durham, Ont., has been appointed minister of Veterans Affairs.

Fellow Schulich School of Law grad John MacDonell (BA’88, LLB’94) was appointed chief of staff in O’Toole’s new office.
